Purple has not always been on my radar. In fact I often look down my nose at it! I'm so naughty for that....
...but then I discovered this lovely color by Benjamin Moore called kalamata....and purple is starting to look up in my world! Let's see if I go nutty, and slap it on a piece of furniture!

Hello one and all! Are you ready for a brand new week? I know I am off to a slow start this Monday morning....we had gorgeous weather this weekend and took full advantage of it! I fell into bed last night with one thing on my mind and that was sleep.....
I would like to introduce you all to miss Jesaray. I finished her the same time that I finished Esme and put them both in the etsy shop, but had yet to formally introduce her! I was drawn to the details of this little desk the moment I laid eyes on her . I knew once a little color was added, those details would shine....and I also knew she would be gray , but the pink came to me after the paint job was already finished. Pink and gray always remind me of elephant skin and ears.....that's just a random thought for the day.....but I felt like this color combination was perfect for bringing out the beauty that was there all along!
I hope you all have a fantastic day...we are supposed to get lots of rain today....but right now it is sunny and gorgeous....we'll see....

Are you diggin' what I'm diggin'?
I'm loving how the old ceiling tiles in different color shades, and all grouped together... take on sort of an "art installation" appeal....
Just make sure they are hung securely or that you are up on your tetanus shot...don't want those suckers coming down on ya!

Today it is all about orange....and one of my very favorite orange shades is Baja orange by Ralph Lauren...
....I could dip a spoon in it and eat it....if it weren't bad for my teeth...and intestines...and well...ya know....probably should just stick with home accessories....
try it...you'll love it!

I told you I was itching to paint something green! So, I created Esme who is now available in the etsy shop.
I am so in love with this piece, with all of its drawers and its over sized bone knobs.....so much so that I am going to combine this green with a navy {another color I am craving!} floral handmade paper and put it on the cutest little piece that I am working on for the Greenville Children's Museum.
I just want to say, that I am so excited about a whole list of new ideas for my furniture, and some new direction ...can't wait to start unraveling it all.... and seeing what you think of it all!
Have a great day!
