...this sweet little end table/bedside table was in such fantastic shape except for two large scratches on the top that could only be repaired with lots of sanding and/or painting. I know that some of you will not believe this... BUT... occasionally there are pieces that I feel do not need to be painted, or are a bit too "nice" to be painted! So, I left her sitting in the studio holding books, while I pondered her transformation.
It finally came to me in a moment of inspiration last week! I have been waiting for just the right project to use this handmade paper on, and it all came together in a matter of minutes as I was working on another piece! The blue and cream compliment the tone of the wood very much to my liking!
Sometimes little tweaks and changes have just as much impact as full transformations do.....
I promise to try not to use my frabjous orange flowers anymore....I know they have probably worn out their welcome here, but they look so great with everything....it is hard not to gravitate towards their goodness....:)
Welcome to November!
