Found Goodness: Wood and Thread Love
I have a passion for wood, color, creative ideas, and originality......and I feel like these cross stitch necklace kits fit the bill completely! These are so cute, and at the really great price of 12.00, you can't go wrong! These would make great stocking stuffers....and my 13 year old daughter is sitting beside me as I write this saying "get me one, get me one!"I especially love the photo with the collection of floral designs. Really cool.I discovered these in the latest edition of Mollie Makes Magazine, which then led me to the Red Gate Stitchery etsy shop.Good Deal.{all photos via Red Gate Stitchery}xo,Barb
Found Goodness: Tea Towels Abounding
I have a gorgeous new selection of tea towels in at the shop......hand picked exclusively for Knack by our friend Aaron while on his last trip to India. I gave him some money and a shopping list, and he was gracious enough to spend a day shopping with Knack in mind.......and I am totally digging his picks! There are some really great batik pillows as well......more on those to come!So excited about being open tomorrow night for a few hours {6-9 pm} to get my feet wet before the GRAND OPENING on October 19th! Woot!xo,Barb
Found Goodness: Foundling
{all photos via foundling}
I have long been an admirer of the beautiful pieces made by Betsy Carr that are sold in her shop Foundling. I have the custom ring stack on my Christmas list and want to get our initials {me, husband, and kids} done on "my stack".......and maybe a number or two.....gotta have a number somewhere!I love the organic and simple curves in this jewelry....it is subtle and beautiful.....easy to wear with anything......easy to never take off......sweet and sentimental.....and all of the other good stuff that goes with a timeless design plan.I had the honor and privilege of meeting Betsy this past month during the Indie Craft Parade held here in Greenville! I was so busy helping out in the booths that I realized at tear down we had been standing a mere 5 people away from each other for hours and I didn't even realize it! {I swear the paint fumes are starting to affect my brain} Thankfully, Betsy is not too far away.....and I hope to catch up with her soon!xo,Barb

Found Goodness- Instagram, furniture, arrows, & cuckoo clocks
I am not sure if you all know how much I love my husband...{wink!}......but I just can't say enough about how special he is. I could not, and would not want to do life without him. JB is my best friend and partner in life.....and the fact that he has always been my biggest supporter and encourager with the Knack business just means the world to me. Just this week alone, he bought the above piece of furniture for me {I did not even see it before purchase.......yes, he is that good}, he purchased the bright yellow cuckoo clock for the showroom because he "thought it was fun, and I deserved a treat for working so hard", he designed a smokin' invite for the grand opening/ 5 year anniversary event coming up on October 19th, and he washed the sheets and steam mopped the kitchen floor. Oh my, how do you even begin to comprehend the sweetness?.....It has been a wonderful week at Knack.....I am so thankful for my intern, and am looking forward to getting to know her better and working alongside her during these next few months. It is amazing what having an extra person, and an extra set of hands around can get accomplished! Much was accomplished this week and things are really starting to clickity clack along!Woot.Woot.xo,Barb
Found Goodness- Colorful Plates
For the next several weeks it is going to be like Christmas at Knack! I swear to you that every time I hear the UPS or FED EX truck pull up I become extra zippy and can't wait to rip into the boxes!This week....it was dish towels, tote bags, mirrors, candles, colorful plates, and wire baskets!I can't wait until the grand opening!xo,Barb
Found Goodness- Sweet 16
Today....our firstborn is 16 years old! I am still in complete denial that the years have flown by as fast as they have.....it just does not seem possible. On this day 16 years ago, I was the very worn out new mommy of a healthy 9 lb 1 oz baby boy! I remember it all like it was yesterday.... and can honestly say that I am glad I am not 22 years old and recovering from a c section today! hah!Yesterday, my mom and I were looking at a bunch of pictures from the time Conley was a baby ......it was totally bittersweet. I miss the sweet faced little baby boy, but at the same time I am so thrilled to be able to watch my handsome....."man child" spread his wings and start to fly. Conley is entering a really exciting time in his life......and it is really cool to be a part of.Happy, happy birthday to my incredibly handsome, soccer loving, techno music listening, Kip talking, super witty, crazy boy!So glad we get to do life together.xo,Barb Blair
Found Goodness- clouds and horses
It is no secret that I love Annie Koelle's work, and it is also no secret to any of the locals here that both Annie and her husband Chris are an artist powerhouse! ......even their little son "M" has already started creating masterpieces! {I own one of his too!} ....and I am sure little baby "P" will be soon to follow as soon as she can get a graphite pencil in her hand!I am loving....loving.....loving my newest purchase from Annie: "the clouds gave up their horses"How great is that little painted minty horse? That's what I'm talking about....xo,Barb
