more lights...:) it was a super dark, cloudy, and rainy day...Laurey had to work magic in my house!...

...the photo shoot with Southern Living was really exciting! Jennifer and Laurey were absolutely wonderful to work with and put me right at ease. I do not do well in front of the camera, and was a nervous wreck....but after just a few minutes with Laurey, I knew everything would be totally chill....she was super fly!

It was a long day of shooting, styling and smiling but it was a vision coming to fruition for me, and that was terrific to watch unfold. It was really fun for me to be a part of the styling and direction....SL wanted it to exemplify Knack in every way...and for that I am so thrilled! I can't wait to see it all come together! Look for it in the February issue of Southern Living!

I even got to wear my pink tool belt, which was a huge hit, along with my converse tennis shoes and puffy vest ....the knack work uniform! I did however change my outfit for the portrait session, {with the special piece that I can show you in February!}, at the house and put on a little j crew and some boots to finish up! 

I really enjoyed the day, and am so thankful for my husband Jon and his unwavering support and encouragement ...I adore this man! Miss Krystle was a joy to have on the shoot as well and I feel so privileged to have her as part of the Knack team!
