Introductions: More Stripes, and another sneak peek at the Knack book

On Saturday morning, a very large padded envelope was delivered to the front  porch, and when I saw the Chronicle Books label and felt the weight of the envelope I seriously had a moment of....really? is this my book? ...I was feeling up that package like it was a secret Christmas present under the tree....and then I tore it open......and guess what was inside?! Not the finished copy of my book, but the completed printed proof of my book! It is the final version....printed on the chosen paper......and soon thousands of them will be printed and bound! Woo hoo, I can't wait for that day!  It is getting closer and closer! I stayed up late Saturday night and read the entire book from the very first page to the last page, {all 192 of them!} and when I got to the last page I finished with a great sense of " Whew, that was a lot of work and I am really proud of the finished product". I am so thankful to have worked with the best in the industry. I just thought you may want to catch a glimpse........I hope you enjoy :}Also, this lovely little modern striped chest is another custom piece, and will be going home with the striped end tables from last week :} Aren't they a great trio? I am super excited with how these pieces turned out and the home that these guys get to live in is a super sweet and special one! I am so blessed with the best clients around!
